Following the release of their first album in 12 years, the majestic Cinematic Orchestra will be taking to the Main Stage on Saturday 6th July. Having pioneered the blending of jazz and electronic music, The Cinematic Orchestra have been blazing their trail for two decades and it’s a privilege to have the band making their debut at Love Supreme.

The legendary Jimmy Cliff is coming to Love Supreme! This Grammy-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee joins us on Saturday 6th July for a Saturday afternoon set of feel-good tunes like ‘I Can See Clearly Now’; ‘The Harder They Come’; ‘You Can Get It If You Really Want It’ and more.

Friday Night

Friday at Love Supreme just got bigger! Joining Friday night’s headliner Gogo Penguin in the Big Top are Zambian via Australia rapper Sampa The Great and the laid-back Lucy Lu while Yakul, Patchwork Orchestra & Kongo Dia Ntotila have been added to the Arena. Afterparties & DJs

For this year’s afterparties we’ve teamed up with some of the best clubs, labels and party starters in the UK to curate a line-up of DJs to keep everyone dancing no matter your taste! Louie Vega, Greg Wilson, Auntie Flo, Alexander Nut, Robert Luis, Mr Bongo and many more will all be spinning across the weekend.

BANDS & VOICES

Having made its emphatic debut in 2018, Bands & Voices returns with another unique programme of Spoken Word, Dance, Cabaret & More. If words are your thing then Linton Kwesi Johnson, Lava La Rue, Tenesha The Wordsmith are for you but if you’re a dance fan then you’ll have plenty to sink your teeth into. Watch out for Steam Down doing their second performance of the festival as well!

Jazz In The Rounds

No three words go together better than ‘Late’, ‘Night’, and ‘Jazz’ and once again Jazz In The Round have got Love Supreme covered for after-hours jams. If you’re still hungry for live music once the headliners have headed off then head to JITR for a cutting-edge bill featuring Cykada, Pyjaen, Rosie Turton and the return of Bukky Leo!

Also joining the bill are UK jazz mainstays Julian Siegel Quartet and Mark Kavuma, dynamic vocalist Alicia Olatuja and two hotly-tipped neo-soul acts Celeste & Fieh.

Bandstand

Presented by New Generation Jazz, the Bandstand is the heart and soul of Love Supreme. Since 2013 this stage has given some incredible artists a platform Nerija? Vels Trio? Ezra Collective? All were part of this line up in previous years. Make sure to check out the line up for 2019, your new favourite artist might be in there!
