Oli Reeves aka Dennis Ayler/Mr Mellow is best known for his work with 22a Records, the South London based imprint that has established itself as one of the leading lights and most respected independent labels in the UK jazz scene. Now a Brighton resident, he was previously a member of the Sounds of The Universe/Soul Jazz Records family, where he honed his musical knowledge and expanded an already extensive and diverse record collection. He has monthly residencies at The Black Dove and Alphabet in Brighton, as well as his monthly radio show on Balamii (previously the 22a show on WWFM) where he explores genres rhythms and tempos from across the world.
