Manu Katché is one of the greatest drummers of the modern day. With an elegant and powerful style he is one of the most sought after percussionsts in the world. Katché’s has been a core part Peter Gabriel’s music, hugely influential on “Sledgehammer” and, more recently, as the focal point of Gabriel’s live band. Also working with Sting he recorded “Englishman in New York” with the rock legend.
As a composer and bandleader Katchè has released six internationally acclaimed albums. Testament to Manu Katché’s genius that both these sides of his musical personality – the outstanding drummer and sound-magician, and the composer and bandleader – complement each other so perfectly.
