Festival buses run from Brighton and Lewes to the festival on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. The journey time is approximately 30 mins from Brighton and 15 mins from Lewes. All buses are wheelchair accessible. Buses run back to Brighton and Lewes in the evening from 7am to 3am.

We offer open return tickets where you select a specific outbound time and you must travel at the time you select. Buses back to Lewes and Brighton run on a regular basis from 7pm to 3am on a first come, first served basis. If you just want to take the bus away from the festival, we also offer single tickets.

Brighton buses depart from the back of Brighton Station on Stroudley Road. Lewes buses pick up outside Lewes Train Station and will be clearly signposted as ‘Pick-up Point’. All buses arrive and depart from the Festival Bus Stop next to the festival’s North Entrance.

Please note that the peak time for travel away from the festival is 10pm to 1am. If you wish to avoid the queues and crowds, please try to travel outside of these times.

Our bus drivers will be able to take card sales on the day however, to ensure that you have a guaranteed seat on the bus, we advise you to buy tickets in advance so that we can adequately plan the service to meet demand. If you do arrive without a ticket or outside of the time that your ticket is valid for, our stewards will try to assist you but you may have to wait for a bus with space available.

We have onsite parking available but we encourage you to consider our other transport options if possible. 

We advise that you buy your Car Park Pass in advance on our ticket page to speed up your arrival.  We will be able to take payment by card on the day but please be aware that this may take longer. We won’t be able to take cash payments.

We ask that all drivers follow the festival road signage rather than Sat Nav. There is no access to the festival through Glynde Village. Please approach the festival from the north (turn onto New Road from the B2192).

Car parks are approximately a 10-minute walk from the festival entrances.

Please note, you cannot park by your tent and you cannot stay in a vehicle in the car park overnight.

Cars and Taxis can drop off/collect from the Pick Up/Drop Off area which is clearly signposted from the road and is a short walk from the festival’s North entrance. In order to respect local residents, there is no access to the festival through Glynde Village. Please do not ignore this as it causes problems with our neighbours.

We ask that all drivers follow the local festival road signage rather than Sat Nav. Please help us by advising your driver to approach the festival from the north (turn onto New Road from the B2192).

Taxis can drop off/collect from the Pick Up/Drop Off area which is clearly signposted from the road and is a short walk from the festival’s North entrance. In order to respect local residents, there is no access to the festival through Glynde Village. Taxi drivers often ignore this which causes problems with our neighbours so we have increased security presence in the village to re-direct drivers.

We ask that all drivers follow the local festival road signage rather than Sat Nav. Please help us by advising your driver to approach the festival from the north (turn onto New Road from the B2192).

We strongly advise pre-booking your taxi before arriving at the festival as local services can get very busy during the weekend.

The closest station to the festival is Glynde which is well served by trains in the local area and nationally. Click here to find available routes to Glynde.

From Glynde Station  you can take the free  Festival Shuttle  which will drop you off at the Festival Bus Stop next to the North Entrance of the site. It’s a short 5 minute journey and all buses are wheelchair accessible.

The Festival Shuttle runs from Glynde Station to the festival at the following times:

• Friday 11.30am to 7.30pm 
• Saturday & Sunday 10.00am to 3.00pm

The shuttle runs from the festival back to Glynde Station at the following times: 

• Saturday & Sunday 7.00pm to last train
• Monday 8.00am to 2.00pm

The Memorial Parade charity tractor pull also runs from Glynde Station to the festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday if you fancy a more unique arrival while also supporting a local cause! Donations are £3 per person.

If you prefer to make your own way from  Glynde station, you can walk to the pedestrian South Entrance which is approximately 800 metres up an incline from Glynde Station. 

If your train only goes as far as Brighton or Lewes, you can take the Festival Bus. More details above.
