Ian Shaw
BBC Jazz Award-winning vocalist, Ian Shaw, has 15 highly acclaimed internationally released albums to his name and is known as one of the jazz world's supreme interpreters of the popular song form. He is a favourite performer both in the UK and internationally and has been cited, along with Mark Murphy and Kurt Elling, as one of the world’s finest male jazz vocalists.

“Shine Sister Shine”, Shaw’s current studio album, is a celebration of the actions and art of extraordinary women. Moved by recent world events and the subsequent rallying of millions of women, Shaw has penned new songs including a co-write with UK pop legend, Tanita Tikaram, on the title track, alongside dazzling new arrangements of works by Alicia Keyes, Peggy Lee and Joni Mitchell.

Ian appears today with his brilliant trio Barry Green (piano), Mick Hutton (bass) and Gary Wilcox (drums) and the Citizens of the World choir.
