Love Supreme is pleased to announce SUPREME STANDARDS, our new space to support the best new UK and international jazz, funk, soul and more.
The UK and international Jazz scene has been growing rapidly over the last few years and we have been proud to showcase these artists at Love Supreme Festival in Glynde & Love Supreme at the Roundhouse. But with limited slots at both events, we haven’t been able to support as many artists as we would like - until now.
Supreme Standards lets us do more.
There are three parts to Supreme Standards:
Live Monthly Residency
Ruby Rushton + Emma-Jean Thackray @ Ghost Notes, 31/01/19
We have teamed up with London’s most exciting new venue Ghost Notes to host a regular, monthly residency.
Our first show is Thursday 31st January and we’re proud to announce Tenderlonious’s band Ruby Rushton & Emma-Jean Thackray as the first artists performing, supported by our resident Supreme Standard DJs
This is an 18+ event.
Sometimes the stories behind the music are as interesting as the music itself and with the new Supreme Standards podcast we can delve deeper into artist stories. Hosted by Tina Edwards (Worldwide FM), we will be welcoming a wide array of guests from the world of jazz, soul, funk and beyond. You can check out the first episode with Sampa The Great here and make sure to subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.
The Supreme Standards website is where you can find info on everything going on in the world of Supreme Standards. We will have interviews, articles, guest mixes and more!
So there you have it! Make sure to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter & Instagram, bookmark the website, subscribe to the podcast, the mailing list and get your tickets for our first Residency!
And finally, Love Supreme Jazz Festival at Glynde Place and our one day festival at the Roundhouse both return for 2019. Early bird tickets, artist announcements and more information will be released in November!
