Supreme Standards present Project Karnak and PYJÆN at the legendary Corsica Studios on Thursday 25 April, supported by Supreme Standards DJs.
With their own energetic, explosive arrangements underpinned by traditional jazz, both bands are at the forefront of the next wave of contemporary jazz coming through the capital.
Featuring members of Steam Down and Ezra Collective, these two groups are rightfully gaining attention.
Supreme Standards are staying South of the river for April following the closure of Ghost Notes, where they held their first two live shows.
A limited number of early birds are available here and also on Dice
Project Karnak are the dynamic duo of keyboardist Dominic Canning and drummer Sam Ouissellat. Following their debut EP 'Equinox' released in 2018 via None More Records, they were coined as "a blinder from the London Scene" by BBC 6music presenter Gilles Peterson. Synthesized electronica meets Jazz with pulsing, animated drums.
Five piece PYJÆN complete the line-up. The progressive band, which includes Ezra Collective trumpeter Dylan Jones, push Jazz forward through a kaleidoscope of rock, electro, afrobeat, hip hop and jazz fusion. The band also includes the talented Ben Vize (sax), Dani Diodato (guitar), Ben Crane (bass) and Charlie Hutchinson (drums).
Early birds and general release are on sale now, available here and also on Dice
